It started with learning something new.
Learning about generative AI and AI agents raised questions for J. O’Brien about knowledge, trust, and responsibility. New tools can open up possibilities. They also ask us to think carefully about what we share and how we use what we know.
The Library That Keeps Secrets grew out of that learning — and a wish to turn it into something warm, imaginative, and useful to other people.
A human idea at the heart of the story.
Keeping information safe begins with care. The book approaches that idea through an illustrated story, making room for curiosity while exploring the responsibility that comes with knowledge.
It is part of a broader creative journey: learning, asking questions, and finding ways to share ideas through stories.
